Beskrivelse: Adult male. There are probably only two birds (1 male, 1 female) left in Cabo Verde, since a female was found dead in autumn 2012. The resident pair tries to breed again on Curral Velho this season.
Only two birds left in the Old World....certainly bad news.
This could become a historic picture, Martin.
Let's cross our fingers that the pair will have a successful breeding this year.

Beskrivelse: Adult han Amerikansk- eller Ascension Fregatfugl. Amerikansk Fregatfugl er jo nok det mest sandsynlige, men er det overhovedet muligt at skelne dem fra hinanden i felten ?
