Beskrivelse: From the 'inside' of an open hacienda. More guides counts ssp. <i>ridgwayi</i> as a full species. And others don't. It's obvious that there are clear differences to the Northern RWS... just look at the white spots between eyes and bill. Besides that this species/sub-species never migrates. It is sort of endemic to Yucatan pen-insula and close-by areas. Here a collage of two individuals - one eating the remains in a man-removed beehive.
