Dear Terry and Jan, thank you for your nice comments!
Jan, with regards to the sharpness, the light was extremely poor on this particularly rainy afternoon. I was forced to work with long exposure times and short depth of focus. Therefore, the sharpness is limited to the area of the eye (only).
BLUE LEGS !!
§§§§§§§§§§§§§§
Legs and feet are rarely birders' favourite
subjects although some Albatros, Sula and Shear-
water species were named eponymously with the
colour of their lower extremities.
Cf. comm. to DREYER's Chile photo of Pink-footed
Shearw., 20-11-08.
Sharp-tailed Sandpiper may have Painted feet,
as demonstrated by LUNDQUIST in China 25-4-10.
Osprey and e.g. some Warblers have Greyish blue
legs, but real BLUE legs are rare.
So enjoy the 'Narcissistic' Flycatcher above,
also from Tomas LUNDQUIST in China.
Kindly comment if You know of other species
with 'navy' or bright blue legs.

Nyd de BLÅ ben på TOMAS' foto ovenfor - måske
derfor den benævnes narcissistisk...
Er der andre fuglearter med lignende blåt
bentøj?
KR / VH .......... C.
Yeah there are good reasons for the lack, I can well imagine, still the pic would have been EVEN better with more sharpness, not that it is not nice already ;-)
