Beskrivelse: Caspian Gull of the form <i>barabensis</i> is the most numerous of Oman's wintering large gulls. Lesser Black-backed Gull of the ssp. <i>heuglini</i>, "Heuglin's Gull", is the second most common. The 1st c.y. individual facing to the right is probably a Heuglin's due to the overall fresher plumage compared to the more worn 1st c.y. Steppe Gulls.
