Beskrivelse: I had quite a suprise as this was about the first bird I saw in Cairns flying around with the local Silver Gulls. Later I found out that the bird apparently had been lingering around first Port Douglas and then since Cairns for several weeks. Rather astonishingly this was the 4th record of this nearctic gull species in Cairns.
